When I first came across Cheer, I popped it on because I had nothing else to watch.
I was cleaning out my wardrobes so decided to play it for some 'background noise'. Two episodes in I was sitting in a pile of clothes at the end of my bed absolutely bet into my laptop.
For someone who knows nothing about cheerleading, I became engrossed in these cheerleaders' lives. The routines, the coaches, the hardships, the injuries, the relationships, the backgrounds.
I fell in love with Jerry and his words of encouragement. I adored Morgan's heart and work ethic. I wished I could be Monica and I wanted to help Lexi.
If you haven't finished the series yet, I won't give away any spoilers - but I will say, it's definitely worth your time.
