Could you be the winner of Ireland’s Got Talent? Here’s how to enter

It could be your big break.

Time to polish up that party piece.

Ireland, as we all know, is a nation full of talented performers and entertainers and we’re not just talking about the people who can blast out ‘Caledonia’ at a house party at 3am.

If you have a talent that is as yet undiscovered by all but your friends and family and wants to showcase it to a wider audience, then you’re not going to have a better chance than on one of the world’s biggest TV shows coming to TV3 in the not too distant future.

TV3 are currently looking for applications for Ireland’s Got Talent, which will be broadcast on the station in the run-up to Christmas, with the winner of the show in line for a €50,000 cash prize and their very own primetime Christmas TV special.

Plenty of Irish performers have graced the British equivalent of the show in recent years, but there will be no need to cross the pond this time around in what has been described by TV3 as “quite simply the most extensive search for talent that Ireland has ever seen”.

If you, or anyone you know might be interested, then you can apply online here or, to apply by post, send a DVD or showreel of your act to the address below; applicants must include their full name, date of birth, email address, contact telephone number and a description of their act.
