Irish actor Liam Neeson has been confirmed for Seth McFarlane’s Ted 2 it was announced yesterday.
The writer/director broke the news on Twitter much to the delight of his five million or so followers.
Neeson will now join a star-studded cast that already includes seasoned actor Morgan Freeman, Mark Wahlberg and Amanda Seyfried.

It is still unknown what character Neeson will play in the movie, while it was confirmed that Morgan Freeman will be playing the role of Ted’s lawyer.
The new comedy follows on from the box office hit Ted which was released in June 2012 and grossed $594.4 million worldwide.
The actor has a busy schedule ahead for 2015.
Neeson is currently filming A Monster Calls before moving on to Martin Scorsese’s Silence, so 2015 is set to be an extremely busy year for the actor.
Meanwhile, according to HitFix, Mad Men star John Slattery is also on board for the film.
Ted 2 is set to be released on June 26th, 2015.
