Irish comedian Aisling Bea has been announced as the new team captain on 8 Out Of 10 Cats. Aisling will join host Jimmy Carr and other team captain Rob Beckett when the show returns with a new series. The hugely popular comedy show hasn’t been on TV for almost two years but it's just been revealed that it will be making a welcomed return with its 19th series and will air on More 4, with repeats on Channel 4. Aisling is no stranger to the show having regularly appeared on Channel 4’s 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown, and also Would I Lie To You? She is also an accomplished actress and can currently be seen alongside Jamie Dornan in The Fall. A statement about the new series on Channel 4's website reads: “Each week Jimmy, Aisling and Rob will be joined by a host of celebrities and comics, including the most promising up and coming comedy talent. “Together they will thrash out the topics that have got Britain talking. As ever, they will draw on polls, statistics and surveys, pontificating on anything from Brexit to the Branjelina split." Sarah Lazenby, Channel 4 Commissioning Editor, said: “We’re thrilled to be bringing back one of the sharpest topical panel shows on TV.
