“Toby’s mum inviting Chloe over for a Sunday roast is the most Irish thing ever.”
It’s no secret that Love Island’s Toby has secured a very special place for himself in our hearts.
In the early days of his journey in the villa, we didn’t know what to make of him, and his constantly turning head.
Since then, however, he’s undergone some pretty big growth, and emerged as a fan favourite.
Last night saw Irish fans grow even more fond of the footballer after he was visited by his mum, who hails from Co. Mayo.
Toby became very emotional shortly after his mum Victoria and his sister Shauna arrived in the villa.
Over on Irish Twitter, it didn’t take long for fans to detect Vicky’s Irish accent, and Toby’s official Instagram account quickly confirmed that she is indeed Irish.

We absolutely love to see it.

Over on Twitter, fans were delighted to learn of his Irish roots.
One viewer tweeted: “Toby’s mum is Irish??? Ok so now every Irish person in the UK has to vote for him & Chloe OBVIOUSLY.”
