It looks like the release date for You season two may have been revealed

It looks like the release date for season two of Netflix’s You may have been revealed.

The highly anticipated thriller was expected to return for a second season at some point this year – and now it looks like we may just know when.

According to Digital Spy, social media posts made on Wednesday, September 11 by Netflix NL said that You would be returning in 110 days.

This would mean season two of Netflix’s You would debut on Monday, December 30.

The posts have been deleted since then. However, the internet never forgets – and there are screenshots doing the rounds on line.

And while the dates aren’t officially confirmed just yet, this would make sense given the holiday release date of season one…

The first season of the thriller had fans hooked from the moment it landed on Stephen’s Day last year.

It followed book shop manager/killer/stalker Joe Goldberg, who developed a dangerous – and deadly – obsession with Guinevere Beck.

Production on the second season is underway, with the series’ Instagram profile promising it will be arriving “soon”.

And if that wasn’t enough, showrunner and co-creator Sera Gamble has revealed that the second season will be “gorier and scarier” than the first was.

She told LadBible:

“At least one scene comes to mind that’s gorier and scarier than anything we had in season one.

“Joe is new to Los Angeles fully intending to start over a new leaf and never being forced to do bad things again.

“Joe is always trying to be a good guy but yet somehow he’s finding himself in these thriller, horror kind of situations. It’s terrible for him but I think it’s going to be so much fun for the audience.”
