This all happened a very long time ago (about two weeks), but people don't forget their first controversial Love Island kiss in a hurry.
New Jack certainly didn't anyway.
He might have exited the villa with new surfer Laura tonight, but during his exit interview, he took it upon himself to lay down some harsh truths about that kiss.
Get it, son.
He said:
"The truth always prevails. I knew at some point, everyone would know the truth and I told the Islanders that when they left, they would see for themselves. I just thought give it time, people will see it and will know the truth."Oh, girl. You calling her a liar.
Jack went on to say that he found the whole situation extremely frustrating because even though he admitted to Laura what had happened, certain people (ahem, Dani) didn't believe him.
"Ultimately, all I cared about was that Laura believed the truth and she believed me from the outset. "It was frustrating but I knew in myself what happened and for me, that was enough. As long as me and original Laura, who I was coupled with at the time, was happy, that was all that mattered to me."Contrastingly, Jack also had some very kind words for old Laura, who he was originally coupled up with.
He said that he had never wanted to hurt her and that he believes she is now "proud" of him for coming as far as he did.
"It was only right for me to talk to her on her own last night before I left to say, ‘You were a big part of my journey in here. I do think a lot of you and I am really grateful for you.’ "I wanted to make sure she was okay and tell her how happy I was for her and Paul. She was quite proud of me at the end."Just stop it, Jack, we're already bawling.
