Coronation Street is set to finally reveal Jade Rowan’s secret tonight, according to reports.
Jade, who worked with Fiz’s daughter Hope at a specialist school in Birmingham, moved to the cobbles earlier this year to help continue the young girl’s education.
And while fans have long suspected that there may be something more to Jade than meets the eye (namely, that she’s not who she says she is), Digital Spy report that tonight’s [Wednesday November 27] dramatic double bill will provide answers.
The publication notes that “a key scene” will show what she has been hiding since her arrival over the last few months.
There aren’t too many other details available, but fans have all kinds of theories about Jade’s real motives – from her being a relative of John Stape, Fiz’s former on/off boyfriend and Hope’s dad, to her trying to have an affair with Tyrone.
Definitely one you won’t want to miss out on.
It comes as Lottie Henshall, who plays Jade, said that the anticipation of the big reveal had been “killing me with excitement”.
“The only thing I can say is that it’s killing me with excitement because it’s been such a long time for this big reveal; I have known about it since June,” she told Metro. “We’ve been waiting for so long so there’s that apprehension so while it’s really exciting, it’s quite nerve wracking as well to see what everyone will say about it.
“It’s fun having that sort of power – every time I go on Twitter and see what people’s theories are. People are so convinced that I am having an affair with Tyrone – it does put a smile on my face.”
