Celebrities who can laugh at themselves are the ones we love most and Hollyoaks actress Jennifer Metcalfe has gained some new fans thanks to her latest selfie. Jennifer, who recently welcomed her first child, took to Instagram to ask people for votes following her nomination for 'sexiest female' at the upcoming Inside Soap Awards. However, it's the photo that she chose to accompany the post that has really won people over. Instead of a glam snap taken at an awards ceremony where she's dolled up to the nines, the soap star went for an angle that's very familiar to us, when your phone camera turns selfie mode when you're least expecting it. To accompany the hilarious image, the 34-year-old wrote:

"Up for sexiest female at this years Inside Soap Awards, pls vote for me and all things @hollyoaksofficialVoting link in bio".

Her followers just loved the fact she wasn't taking the topic too seriously and comments praising her started rolling in.

Lots of people wrote "amazing", another person said "not many would do this" with another reply reading "you're mint for doing this". That's not all either, there were also comments reading "love this", "love her", "what a legend", "she's class" and so on. Something tells us she's about to get a lot more votes because of this particular Instagram post.
