This may just be the most unlikely of friendships but we’re so here for it. John Travolta was in Cannes this week celebrating the screening of his new movie, Gotti (hosted by MoviePass Ventures) and was sharing updates with followers along the way. However, it was what went down after the movie's screening that has everyone talking. Yes, at an afterparty for the new film, 50 Cent took to the stage to perform some of his biggest hits and while the tunes good, the dancing was better.

Footage of Travolta joining 50 Cent on stage quickly began to circulate on Twitter today and it might just be the best thing we’ve ever seen. The rapper shared footage of the Grease and Saturday Night Fever star dancing with him to Just A Lil Bit, saying:

“Me and John Travolta partying. "I swear I only came out here because of him.”

The footage was quickly the talk of Twitter with many questioning what happened to the actor’s famous dance skills? Yes, with a huge back catalogue of movies that highlight Travolta's impressive moves, people were scratching their heads as to why he was "dad dancing" on stage.
