Strictly confirmed the news in a statement.

Judi Love and her professional partner Graziano Di Prima will have to miss this week’s Strictly Come Dancing after the Loose Women star tested positive for Covid-19.

In a statement, a Strictly spokesperson said: “Judi Love has tested positive for Covid-19 and is now self-isolating following the latest government guidelines.

“While Judi and Graziano will not be taking part in Strictly Come Dancing this weekend, Strictly Come Dancing protocols mean that all being well, they will return the following week.”

Judi herself confirmed that she would miss the upcoming shows.

Taking to Twitter and Instagram, she wrote: “Hey my lovelies it’s with great disappointment that I will not be performing this weekend @bbcstrictly dues to testing positive with Covid 19.

“Hoping to make a speedy recovery & dance for you next weekend.

“Stay safe & thank you for your well wishes.”

Dancer Katya Jones wrote: “Your energy and smile will be so missed this weekend!! Get better and we can’t wait to have you back!!! Hurry up.”

Judge Motsi Mabuse also wished her the best, writing: “Get well soon.”

Judi’s partner Graziano Di Prima took to Instagram to share that he is “so sorry” to be missing the upcoming show, but pledged to come back “stronger than ever” when she recovers.

McFly star Tom Fletcher also had to miss out after contracting the virus just weeks ago.
