Justin Bieber told PETA to ‘suck it’ after he spent €31,000 on two cats

Cute!

In his first purchase since marrying Hailey Baldwin for the second time, Justin Bieber has splashed the cash on some pet cats.

Spending approximately €31,000 ($35,000), Justin bought two rare Savannah cats which are a mix between a wild cat and a house cat.

But his purchase of exotic cats from a breeder has caused a lot of upset from PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) who urged that he should have set an example by adopting rather than adding to the overpopulation crisis and giving astronomical money to a breeder.

PETA Senior Vice President Lisa Lange told the New York Post newspaper’s Page Six column:

“Justin Bieber could inspire his fans around the world to save a life by adopting a cat from a local animal shelter. ‘Rather than fuelling the dangerous demand for hybrid cats, contributing to the animal overpopulation crisis, and proving that when it comes to helping animals, his stance so far is “I don’t care”.’

And it appears he doesn’t care what PETA has to say either as he shared an aritcle where they slammed his decision to purchase the cats replying:

“PETA can suck it!”

Justin has already made an Instagram page for the two cats – showing that they’re here to stay. Naming them Sushi and Tuna, the page already has over 200,000 follows and subtly plugs his Drew brand.

According to the Savannah Cat Association, the Biebers will be restricted if they want to travel with the cats as they are illegal in most states as pets besides Illinois, Tennessee, South Carolina and California.
