A very different look!

Karen Taylor is a name well-known to Eastenders and some viewers will remember that she first appeared in June 2017 alongside four of her on-screen children, Keanu, Bernadette, Riley and Chatham Taylor. She works in the laundrette and has been involved in a number of popular storylines since joining the popular soap. Karen is played by Lorraine Stanley and when Lorraine attended the TRIC Awards (Television, Radio and Industries Club) in London, she looked very different to her on-screen character. With sleek long hair, a full face of makeup and a glam blazer and dress combination, we had to look twice before we recognised Lorraine's on-screen persona, Karen. The 41-year-old actress attended the event alongside her co-star Emma Barton, who plays Honey Mitchell and they also nabbed a selfie with Jake Wood at the event.

Emma and Lorraine have known each other since they were 16 with Emma sharing this fun fan fact on her official Twitter account.

Here's hoping Lorraine gets a chance to glam up as part of her Eastenders role soon, the Albert Square residents won't know her at all!
