Kate Middleton gave the Queen a very thoughtful Christmas pressie

Kate Middleton

Kate Middleton is thought to be a big fan of cooking.

She’s stylish, a jet-setter, a mum-of-three and also, as it turns out, a dab hand in the kitchen.

Kate Middleton is a bit of an all-rounder but it sounds like even she gets anxious about what to give her in-laws at Christmas, which is totally fair – what do you buy someone who has literally everything?

A couple of years ago, she decided to go a different route and give her granny-in-law, Queen Elizabeth, something with a personal touch.

“I thought “I’ll make her something, which could have gone horribly wrong,” she told the BBC.

She whipped up a batch of her own grandmother’s chutney, using the family recipe, especially for Liz and it sounds like it was well-received.

“I was slightly worried about it, but I noticed the next day that it was on the table,” she said.

Fair play – anything food-related is a fab present in our book.

We’re not sure what the Duchess of Cambridge gifted the Queen this time around but we’re sure it was something just as thoughtful.

Kate, William, Meghan and Harry together with Prince Charles were spotted attending a church service in Norfolk and the photos received a lot of attention, partly due to the rumoured feud between the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Sussex.

One body language expert has shared her thoughts on the relationship between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle and you can read about that here.
