Kim Kardashian has recalled how production on Keeping Up With The Kardashians was shut down after her fight with her sister, Kourtney.

The reality TV show recently returned to telly screens in North America, with the season 18 premiere showing the siblings getting into an explosive fight.

And during an appearance on The Tonight Show: Home Edition, Kim admitted that fans didn’t see the extent of how bad things were – and that production got shut down for a week afterwards.

“I don’t really ever resort to violence like that. But she scratched me so hard, you couldn’t see, I had like – I was bleeding. And so you didn’t really get see that detail,” she said.

“When I looked down at my arm and saw she had had really scratched me and I felt it all on my back, I just, you know, went over and slapped her back. It’s not like my proudest moment but we were going through it.”

She told Jimmy Fallon that Kourtney has taken some time off from filming for the show, as she recalled production shutting down in the wake of the fight.

“We shut down production for a week after that. I think everyone was really shook for a minute and just was like, ‘this isn’t like our type of show.’ Like, what’s happening? We want everyone to be comfortable and safe,” Kim said.
