We’re already hooked.

Halloween is only two weeks away and as we scroll through every streaming service possible to watch thriller after thriller, one has landed on our doorstep.

If it’s a spooky series you’re looking for then Amazon Prime Video has your back, with a brand new murder mystery thriller joining the streaming service.

Based on the hit 1997 horror film with Jennifer Love Hewitt, Freddie Prinze Jr., and Sarah Michelle Gellar, I Know What You Did Last Summer gives some seriously chilling vibes.

Following a group of teenagers being stalked by a killer a year after the death of a friend on graduation night, they either tell their secrets or risk death.

The first four episodes are already up, starring the like of Madison Iseman, Brianne Tju, Ezekiel Goodman, and Ashley Moore as well as Sebastian Amoruso, Fiona Rene, Cassie Beck, Brooke Bloom, and Bill Heck.

Taken from the 1973 novel of the same name by Lois Duncan, fans went nuts over the series when the trailer first dropped.

Playing over Olivia Rodrigo’s ‘Brutal’, the group are getting ready for graduation when one says: “This graduation party is iconique.”

Taking a very quick and dark turn, they are suddenly covering up their “accident”, saying: “No one will know what we did.”

Someone, however, does know and is hellbent on exposing them for what they did.

Speaking of the reboot, Albert Cheng, co-Head of Television at Amazon Studios, said: “The best horror franchises always have another scare coming, and this I Know What You Did Last Summer series for Sara Goodman is a perfectly twisted update to the iconic slasher movie.”

“Anyway you slice it, our global Prime Video customers will love this modern take on the fan favourite film.”
