Lindsay Lohan's mother Dina has been arrested and charged with in New York for driving while intoxicated.
According to ABC News, Lohan was observed by police at around 11pm, driving at a speed of 77mph in a 55 zone.
She was pulled over by the police for speeding and was tested for alcohol. Lohan's blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit.
Following the arrest, Lohan then claimed that she had been manhandled during the arrest and was then evaluated by medics. She later took back the claim.
Lindsay's mother was then issued with traffic tickets for DWI offenses and for speeding.
She was released and is due to appear before Nassau County 1st District Court on September 24th.
Poor Lindsay.
