Hocus Pocus 2 set to start filming in Salem and Boston this summer

This week, Boston's Wicked North Shore confirmed that filming will be taking place in Boston and Salem this summer and this is exactly the news we needed in 2021. The local news site wrote on their social media yesterday;

"Winifred, Sarah, and Mary are coming to the North Shore this summer. Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy will be filming Hocus Pocus 2 in Salem and other parts of the North Shore."

While we knew that Hocus Pocus 2 was officially in the works we had no idea when filming would officially start due to Covid restrictions. With the Sanderson sisters set to arrive back home in Salem this summer though, there is every possibility that Disney want to release Hocus Pocus 2 this Halloween - and if not, then next year for sure. After the last year and a half of being in and out of lockdown, I think we need this. Now, if all cinemas could do a double feature of Hocus Pocus and Hocus Pocus 2 together that would be great - we've been cinema deprived for far too long.
