It looks like Coronation Street has set up a new target for cobbles villain Gary Windass.
The builder was behind the Underworld roof collapse, in which Rana Habib lost her life earlier this year. He has also murdered loan shark Rick Neelan.
And amid all the other drama going on in Weatherfield at the moment, it seems as if the long-running soap is setting up another target for Gary (and no, it isn’t Adam or Ali).
According to The Daily Star, it looks like the murderous builder has someone else in his sights: Derek Milligan.
Spoilers have revealed that Derek is going to try and double-cross Gary and sell the factory to Nick and Sarah.
Scenes set to air on Friday, December 6, will see him stop by the furniture shop to ask Gary for £3,000.
Gary only gives him a portion of that amount before telling him to leave – leaving Derek very annoyed.
He decides to go behind his back and secretly meet with Nick and Sarah, who agree to buy the factory from him.
Gary gets suspicious after he arranges to meet Maria for lunch at the Bistro, where he spots Nick and Sarah acting suspiciously.
Meanwhile, Derek will continue to try and play Gary at his own game.
