Looks like this EastEnders star is signing up for Strictly Come Dancing

If, like us, your life is dominated by recouplings, muggy behaviour and whether or not Alex will ever get the boot, then sounds like you're just as obsessed with Love Island as we are. However, in the not-so-distant future, the show will come to an end (just breathe, it's OK) and we'll be left with a massive reality TV-shaped hole in our lives. Well, as if by design, we won't have long to wait until another one of our favourites is returning to our screens. Strictly Come Dancing is due to return in September and rumours about who has signed up to take part have gone into overdrive as of late. However, one person who some are calling a "certainty" is EastEnders actress, Samantha Womack. The actress, who played Ronnie on the soap, is one of the favourites to join this year’s lineup. Samantha had previously rejected offers as she said she was too busy with life on Albert Square, but after leaving the show last year, it seems she now has the time. And while she hasn’t officially confirmed it yet, she did give a pretty big hint recently when talking about her upcoming work schedule.

“I’m going to have the summer off and then I’m going back on the telly in September for something that hasn’t been announced yet. “Then I do a play at the beginning of next year.”

We'd love to see the actress take part.
