Looks like we could be in for a Parks and Recreation revival

She said it could happen "any time"

Time to head back to Pawnee?

It looks like we could be one step closer to seeing Parks and Recreation  revival.

The beloved comedy series came to an end a little more than three years ago, after a total of seven seasons (and one Golden Globe win).

But with so many television series’ being revived and rebooted over the last few years, Amy Poehler has admitted a Parks and Recreation one may not be too far behind.

The actress, who played Leslie Knope on the comedy series, appeared alongside Nick Offerman (aka: Ron Swanson) on The Ellen DeGeneres Show earlier this week.

The pair were quizzed about the possibility of the show getting the ‘Will & Grace treatment’ (with the show going off the air for years, before returning and becoming even more popular).

Amy said it would be “amazing” to return to their Pawnee, Indiana roots once again – although it may not be too soon.

She said:

“Oh my God, I’ll speak for everybody and say we would all do it. I think we’d all do it someday. It would be amazing.”

Meanwhile, Nick added:

“Amy’s the boss of the show, so she can speak for everybody.”

However, he did say there was one condition to the potential return to Pawnee.

He joked:

“We said that if Beyonce will play [the] mayor, we’ll bring the show back.

“This is Beyonce Knowles, the singer.”
