This is going to be a great show.
Over the past year, two shows that absolutely stole our attention were Love Island and Derry Girls.
With one being a reality show about love and the other being a dramatic comedy about friends growing up in a world of police in armoured Land Rovers and British Army check points in the 1990s Northern Ireland – they were both completely different, yet completely gripping.
So, we were pretty delighted to find out that Love Island winners Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham, as well as Derry Girls creator Lisa McGee will sit down for a chat alongside some of the stars of the hit Channel 4 show.
That’s not all, though. Singer Damien Dempsey – who just announced a pair of Dublin Christmas gigs – will be on to discuss tracing his ancestry for the TV series Who Do You Think You Are?
Ray will also sit down with Oisin Langford and Ned Hawkins, two Waterford natives who are aiming to turn their comic business into a very lucrative empire before they are teenagers.
Finally, Alison Nevin, who got that much-talked about selfie with Pope Francis, will reveal just how she managed to capture the famous photo…
The Ray D’Arcy Show airs on RTÉ One this Saturday at 9.45pm.
