Many fans had assumed that it would be the two couples who had the most votes that would be vulnerable.
However, Iain Stirling announced at the end of the episode that fans now had to pick between the bottom three couples: Anton and Belle, Maura and Curtis, Ovie and India.
The results of the public vote - as well as the arrival of the Islanders' family and friends in the villa - will be shown on Sunday night's episode.
But Love Island fans took to Twitter to claim the show was a fix after the announcement that the vote was between the bottom three couples.
Deff a fix. Curtis/Maura 2 votes. Ovie/india 2 votes. Anton/Belle 1 vote. Surely it should just be the couples with most votes that are up, usually the way it goes. So producers know Anton/Belle wont be saved

Anton and belle receive one vote so they’re vulnerable?! OMG love island is such a fix this year #loveisland

#LoveIsland So a couple with one vote could be voted out, while two couples with two votes remain, and how quick was molly mae to say anton and belle send the message now, I smell a fix

Anton and belle receive 1 vote, the other two couples receive 2 votes each so how come anton and belle are at risk of getting dumped ? I’m sorry but that doesn’t seem fair to me it should be between the other two ?♀️ #fix #loveisland

@LoveIsland #LoveIsland uhm why are Anton & Belle up ? Ovie/India & Curtis/Maura both got 2 votes .. so there should be only two couples up ??♂️ I smell a #fix ( if Anton & Belle go .. )
