Oh Love Island, why must you make us feel like this?
Love Island fans are not one bit happy after last night’s episode and are completely furious with the producers of the show.
Last night we saw the girls in the main villa get a postcard delivered, and it had one intention, to stir some drama.
While things like this are normal for producers to do to get some reactions, fans were not impressed when they got a glimpse of what was on it.
Showing snaps of the boys in Casa Amor cuddled up to, or in some cases kissing, other girls, they were furious when they saw it, with Liberty even throwing it in the pool.
But the fans were just as angry, slamming the producers online for messing with their heads and making it look like certain boys were doing things when they weren’t.
One picture showed Teddy kissing a girl in a challenge despite him sleeping on a day bed all week, and Jake was seen laughing with Irish girl Kaila even though he’s been the only one Teddy’s getting into bed with.
Many took to Twitter to defend Teddy after the show made him out to be cheating on Faye, trying to get justice for the one-time bombshell.
One fan wrote: “I kinda have an issue given the mental health controversy surrounding #LoveIsland for the producers to intentionally display Teddy as cheating for the sole purposes of drama.”
Another said: “So liam out here kissing Lillie outside of challenge and Teddy sleeping on a daybed….but y’all made teddy the villain.”
me @ the producers for fucking up teddy and faye when they were the only couple to stick and be successful in doing so??? #loveisland pic.twitter.com/fH2FvD4BV3

Fuck this I’m complaining to OfCom for the character assassination of Teddy #LoveIsland pic.twitter.com/koITQLLk16

A third wrote: “It’s genuinely heartbreaking watching someone (Faye) who clearly has trust issues, be manipulated into spiralling. The context of Teddy’s kiss still ain’t wonderful but it’s vastly different to the conclusion Faye is obvs gonna jump to. I wanted drama but not this.”
Fans have been sending in complaints to Ofcom, the company that airs Love Island, sharing screenshots and encouraging others to do the same.
