Love Island fans in stitches as Danny calls Jourdan the wrong name

He's been talking an awful lot about the strong connection they have.

But Love Island fans were stitches last night as Danny Williams called his new partner, Jourdan Riane, by the wrong name. The extra long episode saw the Islanders take part in the post-Casa Amor 'stick or twist' recoupling, which resulted in a lot of drama. Tommy and Molly Mae had a tearful reunion. Maura appears to have found the gentleman she said she wanted (provided the dumped Casa Amor lads aren't right). Lucie got her blonde guy (even if he's not a surfer-type). Anna and Jordan split after she returned with Ovie and he decided he wanted to recouple with her. Michael decided to recouple with Joanna rather than Amber. Curtis admitted he had been lying to himself and Amy about how well their relationship were going. And somewhere all there, amidst all the drama, were Danny and Jourdan - who, by all accounts, had a pretty chill evening. Minus her very, very awkward conversation with Curtis - and the fact that Danny called her by the wrong name in the Beach Hut. Speaking ahead of the recoupling, he said:

"Receiving that text I am probably a bit glad, and a bit relieved that it was as simple as that. "I feel like I know who I am going to choose to recouple with, and she wants me to recouple with her as well. "Definitely looking forward to the others meeting Jourdanna, and I feel like she is going to be a great addition to the villa as well."

And the moment didn't go unnoticed by eagle-eyed fans, who took to Twitter to point out the slip-up.
