Love Island first look shows Maya Jama’s dramatic entrance to the villa

It's back.

Love Island series nine officially returns tonight and as the winter season gets underway for the first time in three years, we finally have the first look. Starting tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media Two, the first look shows brand new host Maya Jama arriving to introduce the new bunch of islanders to the villa. Showing off the stunning new South African villa, the show starts with some classic dramatic scenes to kick off in style with a helicopter circling over the villa. The pilot then announces: "Maya Jama on board.” As the helicopter lands, Maya struts into the villa, explaining on her way: "It’s a new year, in a brand new Villa, it's a stunning location ready for some sexy singles looking for love, all we need now are some Islanders.” Approaching the new group of boys, Maya says: "Hello boys, you alright, shall we have a little chat?” The boys then line up as they wait for the girls to arrive in classic Love Island fashion, but who are they going to couple up with? Last year, the public voted for who each couple will be coupling up with but this year, they're going back to their old ways. Who will the islanders pick and will they see someone they like straight off the bat - or will they wait to find that now famous connection they always go on about?
