Love Island hit by ‘377 Ofcom complaints’ after headline leads Paige to believe Finn’s head turned

Viewers were furious after the challenge.

377 complaints were reportedly made to Ofcom after a Love Island challenge led Paige Turley to believe her partner Finn Tapp’s head had been turned in Casa Amor.

The recent challenge saw the Islanders read out a series of headlines, with the names – and certain words – blocked out. The team that filled in most of the blanks correctly won.

And there was one headline in particular that sent shockwaves through the villa: Casa Amor cause Callum, Finn and Nas’ heads to turn on tonight’s Love Island.

Ofcom explained to The Sun that the complaints were mostly people saying that the headline about Finn was untrue. Others, meanwhile, are said to have claimed that the “fake news” headline had picked by producers to stir up some drama.

And while it looked like the fan favourite couple were in for a tough few days, they seemed to have worked things out after a tense conversation at the fire pit last night.

“I have not done one thing in Casa Amor that I regret. Whatever I did, was respectful to you the whole time. I feel like I’ve come back here with my head held high knowing I’ve respected you and I’ve gone about things in a way that I’m proud of,” Finn told his girlfriend. “My head wasn’t turned. All I care about is how you feel and how I feel.”

“I’ve told you how I feel… The headline, in black and white… what do you want me to take from that,” Paige asks him, to which Finn reassures her: “I understand why you feel like that, but all Casa Amor did is make me realise how much I was into you.”

  • Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media One.
