Yes, that's right: according to new reports, the popular summer series is "on the verge" of being remade in the United States.
Deadline report that ITV America - who are also the folks behind Netflix's Queer Eye reboot - are keen to make the series after Love Island UK recently landed over there (and people have been loving it).
The publication reports that ITV America had previously sold Love Island to MTV, but things fell through after there was a management shakeup.
Mike Beale, who oversees the global roll out out of the company's formats, said:
"For us, it's about finding the right place. It's a very different offering to anything else America has done before, even in this dating environment.
"We talk about the key elements being the event, the stripped nature and multiple platforms so getting that right is important and that's tricky.
"We're definitely working on it."
