So the other night, eagle eyed Love Island fans spotted something pretty interesting in the villa.
Sweet Ovie went to the freezer to take out his hat (yeah we know – it’s to keep his head cool!).
And when he opened the door, loads of viewers spotted a McDonald’s McFlurry perched on a shelf.
The viewers took to Twitter to express their confusion with the whole thing.
“Am I the only one that noticed but is that a fucking MCFLURRY? How the fuck?” wrote one fan of the show.
While a fourth made the most valid point of all, tweeting:
“Who doesn’t finish a McFlurry and SAVES IT FOR LATER.”
Seriously, who has that level of self control?
Anyway, there is a very reasonable explanation behind the McFlurry.
In an interview with Cosmopolitan, former Love Island contestant Kady McDermott revealed that the Islanders could request food that they were craving while in the villa.
How nice is that?
The 23-year-old reality star said: “They used to give us a dessert after every lunch and every dinner, and the cake was unreal, and we could request food if we wanted.”
So clearly, there was a request put in for McDonalds. We stan.
