Love Island star Jess Harding walks off set in unaired scenes after big recoupling

So much happened off screen…

Following on from a very dramatic episode of Love Island, tensions in the villa are high and one islander seems to be feeling it much more than others.

In unaired scenes, the dramatic recoupling saw Jess Harding storm off set with tears in her eyes.

The drama started after Jess and Sammy found themselves in the bottom two in the recoupling alongside Mitchel and Leah, and were voted most incompatible by their fellow co-stars.

In a shock twist, Jess and Sammy were split up and told they could not couple up again.

And according to The Sun, as emotions were running high, the couples in the bottom two were left devastated by their fellow islanders.

“It really ruffled some feathers – and it got worse when Jess found out she had to go on a date with the new boy,” the TV insider said.

They then went on to explain that Jess was left in such shock by the decision that she stormed off set and refused to be part of the show.

“It wasn’t anything personal against him, but a producer had to console her while she sobbed and coax her to continue filming,” the source added.

“Eventually, she carried on and it got smoothed over, but it was such a bombshell twist, it was unsurprising the Islanders were so annoyed.”

Two new bombshells are set to enter the villa in tonight’s episode, 25-year-old Scottish picture researcher Malissa Nicol and 25-year-old account manager and semi-professional footballer Montel McKenzie.

Malissa is originally from Edinburgh but now based in London, and even previously dated former Love Island contestant Jay Younger who appeared on the 2022 summer season, causing quite the stir among the islanders.
