Love Island viewers furious with Aaron after last night’s breakup

Ellen Fitzpatrick

Woah, there’s a lot to unpack.

Love Island, keeping our heart rate up since 2015.

On last night’s episode we saw the two new girls Lucinda and Millie go on dates with four of the boys, and while we expected the drama to really kick off as the others watched from the terrace, we were left waiting until after.

Once the dates ended, the group rejoined and Aaron was rethinking everything about his relationship Sharon after simply getting a glimpse of Lucinda.

Clearly having enough of her once someone new showed up, Aaron made a mental list of everything he didn’t like about Sharon and decided to tell her this.

Fans were not one bit impressed with how he decided to end things with Sharon, and like the people of Twitter tend to do, they didn’t hold back at all when it came to sharing their thoughts on the situation.

One fan said: “Aaron finding every excuse to leave Sharon except to tell her that he’s interested in Lucinda is why people don’t rate him .”

Another added: “Does Aaron think that Lucinda will never raise her voice ever? God forbid that woman wants chicken for dinner instead of Salmon he will throw her out on the street! Does he even know if LUCINDA wants kids!?”

A third said: “It’s really uncomfortable to watch Aaron make Sharon out to be a villain. Its so dark and manipulative.”

During the islanders group brunch date a few episodes ago, Sharon revealed to Aaron that she didn’t have a big interest in having kids and she was a lot more career driven.

This was the first “red flag”, as Aaron put it, that he saw when it came to progressing with Sharon, and escalated when Sharon had to have a few heated words with Hugo over his fakeness comment. Calling it a fight would probably be an exaggeration.

But fans are not one bit happy about this, and don’t accept this to be a good enough reason for him to end things so abruptly with Sharon.

Former winner Amber Gill said: “Personally I don’t like someone that sticks up for themselves or communicates when they are annoyed

“OK Aaron.”

Another added: “Aaron locking off a girl because she raised her voice once. No but how does it feel to be such a weak male?”
