Add us as a preferred source on Google »It looks like Love Island winner Davide Sanclimenti is hoping to take his reality TV experience down under.
The Italian media personality, who won the 2022 series of Love Island with girlfriend Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, is open to the possibility of joining 'I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!'.
The reality star admits while he was in Italy, he was 'always' watching shows like 'Survivor' and 'I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!'.
"My dream would be to be on an island alone and survive," Davide told the Daily Star.
However, despite it being his 'dream', he feels he would struggle with 'any kind of insect', adding that he wouldn't be able to 'cope with that'.
Still, the former Love Island contestant is keen on challenging himself and is open to the idea of appearing on other shows too.
"I will do any show that will challenge myself in different ways, so 'Dancing on Ice' I would do because it will be challenging with the training and working on the show."
In the past, contestants for 'I'm A Celeb' have been announced in October, with the show airing in November.
And while this year’s celebs have yet to be confirmed, it hasn't stopped speculation and rumours of who may enter (or reenter) the jungle.
A number of well-known names have been linked to this year’s lineup, with Olivia Attwood rumoured to re-enter the jungle after departing early in last year’s series due to health reasons.
Other celebrities include This Morning‘s Josie Gibson, social media personality Sam Thompson, singer Marvin Humes, rapper Flava Flav, actress Denise van Outen, Coronation Street’s Alan Halsall, who plays Tyrone Dobbs, and rugby player Danny Cipriani.
And who knows? Possibly Davide after his brave statement that it's his dream to be 'alone and survive.'
ITV released the first official trailer for this year’s series on October 20th.
The show’s hosts, Ant and Dec, return once again to the ‘five-star’ Jungle Retreat, filling a bathtub of mealworms and prepping true I’m A Celeb cuisine: aka a cocktail fountain of an absolutely repulsive liquid that some poor celebrity will be subjected to drink, and an array of off-the-wall, disgusting meals.
Come away with us, far, far away into the heart of a tropical jungle,” the voiceover begins.
“Dream beneath the stars. Savour exotic cuisine, unlike anything you’ve ever tasted before. Surrender yourself to the ultimate jungle experience.”
“Let us pamper you beyond your wildest expectations. You deserve this. We’ll give you the full celebrity treatment.”
