Love Island's Jack Fincham said that he kept news that he was set to become a dad secret to give the mother of his child a "peaceful" pregnancy. The reality TV star - who won the 2018 instalment of the ITV show with Dani Dyer - revealed that he had become a father over the weekend. He now shares daughter Blossom with ex Casey Ranger, who he remains good friends with. Jack said last night that he opted to keep the news out of the public eye for the sake of his ex. "I kept the pregnancy a secret so her mum could have a peaceful pregnancy and she did," he told The Sun at last night's NTAs. "I’m loving fatherhood. But not nappy changing - it stinks. I can’t stop staring at her though she’s beautiful. "Everyone from Love Island has been in touch to wish me well and it made me cry." Jack announced his news over the weekend via an Instagram post, stating that he wanted to take a bit of time away from the public eye to prepare for this "new responsibility." "It’s true what they say, the instant feeling of love and connection you have with your child is a feeling like no other," he said. "I want to thank my family and friends for your continued support, also to my little girl's mother, who has been totally AMAZING throughout. "Although we are not together we are great friends as we have been for many years and our priority is co-parenting our beautiful baby girl. He later said that they ended their relationship because they moved too fast once the show ended. "If we had lived in Love Island forever, we’d have been fine," he said on Celebs Go Dating. "We rushed it straight away, we moved in together. I did want to, but I wish we had waited. I let her rush me a little bit. We had a genuine connection in there and I think anyone can see that."
