Love Island’s Lucie reveals she can still see a future with Tommy after the villa

Another one bites the dust.

Denise Curtin

Is Curtis actually suited to Maura?

Who will leave next?

And what’s going to happen once the new Islanders walk in?

WELL, we have it all laid down for you on today’s episode of I’VE GOT A TEXT.

Listen below!

Another one bites the dust.

Or in this case five people in 24 hours.

Yes, last night’s episode of Love Island ended a hectic day of dumping and walk-outs as Danny, Jourdan, Amy, Lucie and George all left the Love Island villa.

As Amy decided to leave on her own terms in an emotional farewell with her fellow Islanders, Lucie and George saw themselves being voted out by the rest of the contestants in an emotional scene around the firepit.

Saying goodbye, Lucie could be seen holding on to Tommy revealing that she promises she’ll attend his first fight and crying in a teary moment before departure.

Lucie made her feelings clear to Tommy in the past two weeks, telling him that she’d kick herself if she didn’t make him aware of her feelings. And although the feeling wasn’t mutual on a romantic level, Lucie couldn’t deny the strong bond she felt with Tommy and admitted in her exit interview that she has hopes for their future.

“I want to see how things go with him and Molly-Mae, I can see he really likes her. I’m happy for them. I feel like we’ll see what happens on the outside and how those guys will go but never say never, if we did come to that romantic stage in a few years and me and Tommy were still friends, you never know.”

And as for Joe?

Well, although Lucie didn’t reveal whether they’d reconcile or not, she doesn’t regret meeting him.

“I went with how I felt at the time. I felt really strongly about him at the time. I got on with him straight away, whereas with Tommy it took time.”
