Love Island’s Martin shares which couples he thinks aren’t genuine

He’s spilling all.

Former Love Island star Martin Akinola has opened up about which couples still left in the villa are the least genuine.

The Dublin native started his Love Island journey in Casa Amor where he entered as a bombshell, but it sadly came to an end on Friday night when he was dumped from the series.

While on the show, Martin found himself getting close to Tanya in Casa Amor – so close that she brought him back to the main villa, leaving Shaq single.

As the two eventually drifted and things began to get heated when Tanya went back to Shaq, Martin didn’t hold back in his comments to Tanya.

Speaking about his time on the show and who he thinks isn’t genuine in their couples, Martin claimed that Claudia and Casey and Tanya and Shaq won’t stay together once the show ends.

While he may have been clearly right about Casey and Claudia, he said: “If I was a gambling man, I don’t think Claudia and Casey or Shaq and Tanya would work on the outside.

“Claudia and Casey because they give me friend vibes, I think they are more suited to friends. They don’t really give me couple vibes.”

Talking about his time with Tanya, Martin predicted that Tanya is unlikely to stay faithful to Shaq once they leave the villa.

“Shaq and Tanya because so much has happened, especially with Tanya,” he said. “On the outside there are going to be more and more tests. On the outside, there’ll be more and more temptations.”
