Always knew there was a catch with this one, tbh.

Love Island‘s Ovie is the perfect man.

He is sensitive. He is intelligent. He is – as Anna repeatedly reminded us for weeks – really, really tall.

It honestly doesn’t get better than that, and although Ovie is over there and we’re over here, we’re still holding out hope that one day the basketball player will realise that he, like Curtis before him, also wants an Irish woman.

And when he does, we will – of course – be waiting.

After all, there’s nothing that Ovie could ever do to make us think less of him… right?

Well, maybe not.

During last night’s Unseen Bits, the six foot seven masterpiece admitted to the nation that he does indeed believe in Lizard People.

So what’s a Lizard Person, you might ask.

Well, the Lizard People are a race who appear to be humans but have the characteristics of reptiles who are currently occupying some of the top and most prominent positions in the world.

Think the royal, family, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, Trump.

Or so the conspiracy theory goes.

Any logic-abiding person may enjoy the idea of Lizard People as a concept while also recognising that they probably do not actually exist.

Ovie, as it turns out, is not one of these people.

“Lizard People run the fucking world!” he said during a chat with Chris. “Reptilians! All the richest, famous, biggest motherfuckers in the world. Reptilians.”

“I swear to God they’re fucking reptilians! It’s a fact. They’ve just learned how to mask themselves as human and blend into society.”

Right, so.

Amber was, thankfully, having none of Ovie’s chat, despite the fact that Tommy, unsurprisingly, was.

Oh well.

Everyone has to have at least one flaw, we guess.
