Love Island season five has so far been pretty dramatic.
From intense chats to love triangles, cracking on and new arrivals, we’re hooked and it’s only just starting.
However, there’s one thing that is severely lacking in the villa and it’s grinding our gears. The Islanders have so far not shouted: “I’VE GOT A TEXT” when their phones go off.
It’s an outrage, it’s upsetting the public and tbh, it’s just not on.
If you’re going to say “it is what it is” every 20 f*cking seconds at least seem enthusiastic when your phone rings.
Now, in fairness, Tommy did give the squeal a good attempt last night and we’re very happy with him. Receiving a text to meet the new Islander in the Hideaway hot tub, Tommy roared “I’VE GOT A TEXT”. Now, practice makes perfect but we were thrilled to note that the phrase has thankfully not been axed.
Wake up Islanders, it’s the name of our Her Love Island show and so, we need you screaming it from the rooftops.
