If you haven't seen it yet, then you've no longer got any excuse.
Room was one of the best movies in 2016 and it's finally getting shown on TV tonight.
Nominated for four Oscars - including Best Picture, Best Director for Lenny Abrahamson, and Best Adapted Screenplay for Emma Donoghue who worked from her own novel - and winning Brie Larson the award for Best Actress, everyone who has ever seen Room has been affected by it in one way or another.
Telling the story of a young boy (an amazing performance by newcomer Jacob Tremblay) and his mother (Larson) as they live their day-to-day lives as the captives of a dangerous man, Room gets it's TV premiere on Channel 4 tonight at 9pm, and we can't recommend it enough.
We actually spoke to the movie's director - who was also the man behind the likes of What Richard Did, Adam & Paul and Garage - back when the movie first hit cinemas.
