We really want to believe Steven Avery is innocent, but we are having trouble getting past the fact that he doesn't own underwear.
Either way, everyone's got an opinion on the case, including, of course, the filmmakers Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos.
The ladies appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert this week to chat about the outrageously popular Netflix documentary.

Riccardi responded: “My personal opinion is that the state did not meet its burden either in Steven Avery’s case or Brendan Dassey’s case. So I would say, in my opinion, not guilty."
Her sentiment was echoed by Demos, who added that she does not believe Avery is guilty "beyond reasonable doubt."
She continued: Nothing I've seen, and I've seen a lot of stuff, nothing I've seen has convinced me of that."
