While the second movie may have been a bit disappointing (to say the least!), there is still a Sex and the City-shaped hole in our lives that no amount of Girls or House of Cards will fill.
So, you can imagine our excitement when Cynthia Nixon gave her strongest indication yet that she would be on board if the powers that be give a green light to a New York reunion. Speaking to In Style at the Rush HeARTS Education Luncheon, Miranda’s alter ego said that she would consider returning to the hugely-successful franchise if key members of the old cast were involved.
“I believe the series has run its course, but if anyone else has any ideas they’d like to tell me, I’d be open to hearing them,” she said. “If Michael Patrick King is writing the sequel, and Sarah Jessica Parker is starring in it, sure!”
We’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for this one!
