Head of MCD responds to rumours of a second Coldplay date in Croke Park

We've all been wondering about this.

Well that’s that then.

MCD Chief Denis Desmond has spoken out about rumours that Coldplay would play a second date in Croke Park and it’s bad news.

According to The Irish Mirror, the businessman said the foursome are just “too busy” to fit in a second date in Dublin on this tour.

Crushing hopes across the country, Desmond said:

“There won’t be a second Coldplay gig in Dublin. They don’t have the time.

“The band is playing only 15 gigs in Europe next Summer and only two in the UK”.

Judging by the amount of p*ssed off tweets, Facebook statuses and Snapchats sent bemoaning the lack of tickets, we imagine this news will annoy a lot of people.

Fair play to people going to the concert and for the rest of us, we’ll be waiting another while to see Chris Martin, Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland and Will Champion in action.

SOB.
