Daniel Franzese is getting married.
Best known for playing Lindsay Lohan's on-screen best friend Damien in the movie Mean Girls, Daniel has just proposed to his boyfriend of one year.
He popped the question to his boyfriend, Joseph Bradley Phillips, in Starbucks in Hollywood, but before you prejudge his choice of location, the way in which he did it and why is so cute.
Daniel and Joseph had met at that very Starbucks so Daniel thought it was the perfect place to get down on one knee.
He put through his order and without Joseph seeing he gave a ring to the barista and told her to write "Mr & Mr Franzese" on the cup. When she called out the order she told Joseph that it was a new type of drink. Once he opened the lid Daniel got down on one knee in the middle of the shop and proposed.
According to People Magazine, he said, "Since I first saw you here, you have opened your heart to me, and I vow to God that for the rest of my life to honor and protect that heart if you will be my husband. Will you marry me?"
