Every year – the same question: what are we gonna do for Patrick’s Day?

Because obviously our days of drinking cans in the park at 11am are long done ‘n’ dusted (largely).

And if you’re in the market for something that’s just about as far away from cans in the park at 11am – there is kick-ass party happening in Dublin on Friday, March 16 – with similar events kicking off in Canada and South Korea on the same day.

Hosted by Jameson, in a nutshell the Dublin soiree is a free music event championing local talent Daithi as well as DJ Aidan Kelly.

Taking place in the Bow St Distillery, a spokesperson says: “Jameson Dublin City Sessions will introduce attendees to friends of Jameson in the areas of styling, craft, and hospitality before culminating in a live music event with talented local artists in one iconic venue.”

If you’re wondering what hospitality means… it means at least in part the launch of Jameson Caskmates IPA edition (in fact, City Sessions guests will be among the first to sample it).

“The Dublin music event will take place in the brand’s home – Jameson Distillery, Bow Street and will be co-headlined by award winning Irish electronic musician and producer, Daithi and renowned DJ, Aidan Kelly with one further special guest yet to be announced,” the spokesperson added.

If you happen not to be in Dublin this Paddy’s Day and happen instead to be in Toronto or Seoul – then Jameson is holding parties there too, god bless them.

Taking place on the same night, the acts will also be selected from local, talented entertainers.

All the relevant deets on all three events are available via the Jameson Facebook page and the dedicated Jameson City Sessions website.

The events are free but you need to apply for tickets in order to attend. And be warned… tickets are also limited!
