Meghan Markle's first interview since marrying Prince Harry sounds juicy
Meghan Markle has given her first interview since joining the royal family.
The new Duchess of Sussex has taken part in a new documentary about Queen Elizabeth which will give viewers much insight into the life and history of the UK's longest-serving monarch.
The documentary, called Queen of the World, will focus on the Queen's reign over the commonwealth and her relationship to the younger members of the royal family.
The series will feature interviews from Meghan as well as Prince Harry. Also appearing in the show will be Prince Charles, Prince William, and Princess Anne.
The two part series will include the Duchess's silk tulle wedding veil that had an embroidered flower for each of the 53 commonwealth countries.
The documentary, set to air next month, will also include footage from the Queen’s private archives and the Royal Collection’s treasure - so you know it'll probably end up being fairly juicy.
Jo Clinton-Davis, Controller of Factual at ITV said:
"The Queen is a unique figure on the world stage, with a huge depth of experience having met more global leaders than any previous British monarch and serving longer than all of them.
"This film is a rare opportunity to see Her Majesty up close and behind the scenes in this role, which means so much to her and has been so significant for Britain and the Commonwealth.”
Queen of the World is being produced by ITV and is expected to air next month in two hour long episodes.
