Michelle Connor to deliver Vicky Jefferies’ baby on tonight’s Coronation Street

Michelle Connor will delivery Vicky Jefferies' baby in tonight's Coronation Street. 

Fans had been wondering how the pair's plans to frame Robert Preston for Vicky's murder would play out, given that she is very heavily pregnant and due to give birth soon. Vicky and Michelle joined forces to make it look as though Robert had killed his pregnant lover Vicky after they discovered he was engaged to them both. Since Michelle and Robert’s ill fated wedding day Vicky had been locked away in a hotel room and the plan to frame him with planted ‘evidence’ came together as Robert was arrested. Then, earlier this week, fans saw Vicky in the early stages of labour in the hotel room where she has been hiding - but she sent Michelle away saying she was fine. Tonight, Vicky calls Michelle to tell her she is in labour. And with the baby about to arrive, they have to make the decision about whether to break their cover and call for help. But things start to move quickly, and Michelle realises she is going to have to deliver Vicky's baby. It’s a bittersweet moment for Michelle. The baby is born, but her relief at the safe delivery tinged with the sadness of the loss of her own baby Ruari. Will the newborn lead Vicky and Michelle to come clean about their plan? Or will Vicky and her baby boy disappear?
