Influencer Miriam Mullins reportedly set to take part in Dancing with the Stars

Miriam Mullins will be an incredible addition to the show!

The influencer is one of many social media stars who are being coined for an appearance on the RTÉ series.

Insiders believe Miriam Mullins is the perfect candidate for the show because of her online presence and fun personality.

A source told the Sunday World: "Miriam [Mullins] is perfect for this show because she is fun and energetic and has a huge following."

The line-up hasn't even been confirmed yet, but the insider believes Miriam could win the series.

They said: "She will have to be one of the favourites to win the whole thing."

Other influencers reportedly taking part this year include James Kavanagh, Roz Purcell, and Tadhg Fleming.

The step away from traditional Irish celebrities shows the producers are eager to target a different demographic.

An insider told The Sunday World that having these big online names take part could see a jump in viewership.

"They are clearly looking for votes here by targeting influencers but they will need to ensure that all ages are catered for because it is a popular Sunday evening prime time show that needs to pull in huge numbers to justify the cost."

Other reported stars also taking part include former news reporter Eileen Dunne and model and author Rosanna Davison.

RTÉ will likely confirm the full line-up in the run-up to Christmas.

The new series of Dancing with the Stars is set to air in the new year.
