Scary stuff.

This Morning and Loose Women have both been pulled off the air today following a “security alert” near the ITV studios.

Staff were evacuated from the studio when police were alerted to a suspicious item at Wood Lane, White City, according to Mail Online.

They were then forced to pull a live episode of This Morning during an ad break and cancelled Loose Women which follows it.

The Metropolitan Police have confirmed: “At 11:14hrs on Thursday, 10 March, police were called to reports of a security alert at Wood Lane, White City.”

“It was reported a suspicious item had been discovered. The area was evacuated as a precaution and White City and Wood Lane tube stations were temporarily closed.”

“The incident was stood down shortly before 12:49hrs. An investigation is ongoing.”

TV chef Donal Skehan was set to be interviewed on This Morning when the incident occurred before he was also evacuated and revealed on his Instagram story that it was rumoured to be a bomb scare.

Showing the crowds of people outside, he wrote: “Slightly scary stuff – we’ve just been evacuated due to a bomb scare at the studios!

“Holy moly literally just finished the recipe and the entire building was evacuated!”

While the police are yet to confirm the cause of the security alert, but investigations are ongoing and the studio and nearby tube stations have since reopened.
