Brian McFadden might have been painted as the bad one who left Westlife but it appears as if he is very keen for a reunion.
The pop star, who is busy promoting his solo album (which we'd prefer not to comment on), has spoken previously about getting back on stage with the lads but now he has actually said that “one day we will.”
Brian is currently touring with Ronan Keating.
Speaking to The Sun about whether he is still in touch with his former band mates Brian said: “It’s like the people you went to college with. There are no bad vibes. I spoke to Mark (Feehily) the other day on the phone and Nicky (Byrne) a year ago.
“When the boys were in Los Angeles shooting their last video, when I lived there, we all went for dinner and Kian (Egan) and Mark came back and sat in my swimming pool to 6am drinking beers.”
He didn't join the other boys for the Farewell Tour in 2010.
When asked whether Westlife would be returning to the music scene he gave a very promising answer indeed: “I’d love to do something with the boys again and probably one day we will."
He added: “But if they get back together in five years to celebrate 20 years of getting together and they don’t invite me, then I will be p*ssed off!” Now if that’s not very close to a confirmation we don’t know what is!
