She might have bowed out of the competition early but Lucy Spraggan has been a busy bunny since leaving The X Factor last year.
The singer, who wowed audiences and the judges with her quirky style, hasn’t just been working on her album and tour but has also just signed a record deal with Columbia.
Lucy was very impressive in her first audition on the talent show.
Lucy, whose debut album is due out later this year, took to Twitter to announce the good news today.
She wrote: “I am incredibly proud to tell you… I am officially signed to Columbia Records! Prepare for some music.”
The 21-year-old has been busy writing songs for her debut album.
And while she took a little more time than the other finalists putting pen to paper, she couldn’t be with better company. Columbia is also home to Bruce Springsteen, Adele, Beyoncé and Rita Ora.
