Ladies, do you remember the 90s? Weren’t they just epic? We had scrunchies, Saved by the Bell, Take That and, if you remember the late 90s, Aaron Carter. Yes, he was the little brother of a Backstreet Boy and he has some epic tunes (Crazy Little Party Girl – hell to the yes!)
Anyway, if you were an Aaron Carter fan, we have some great news for you today. A slightly more grown-up Aaron is planning on getting back into the world of pop music. Yes, we’re serious!
The New York Post reports that Aaron, who is currently starring The Fantasticks on Broadway, has just revealed that he’s also been busy working on a new album!
This will be the 24 year old’s first release since 2002, and we have to say, our inner-fan-girl is pretty pleased about this.
“My goal is to get it out by December, which probably won’t happen because I am being so critical on myself,” said Aaron, speaking to the New York Post.
“I want the best,” he added.
So aside from starring on Broadway what has the former teen sensation been up to in recent years? Well unfortunately Aaron had some bad times and he ended up having a stint in rehab.
“I am notorious for being a bad boy. I am more of a sophisticated one now, but I am still bad,” he said.
According to reports, Aaron’s new album is likely to be called ‘The After Party’ in reference to his ‘Aaron’s Party (Come Get It)’ album that was released in 2000 and it is set to be full of “theme songs.”
We don’t know about you ladies, but while Aaron may have grown up in recent years, we’ll always see him like this…
